S.P.A. received a call two weeks ago from a man who found a cat taped shut in a box near his apartment. He was thin and heavily infested with fleas.

The cat was taken to Fremont Animal Hospital where he was fully vetted at S.P.A.'s expense.
This very friendly, male, long-haired tiger is in need of a loving, forever home. He was treated for fleas, tested, neutered and has received all shots.
We have named him "Newman." He is a real head-banger and loves to be petted and hugged.
