ANNIE is a two year old shepherd mix and she is one smart cookie! Once she attatches to you, she'll be your friend for life!
ANNIE'S OUTSTANDING FEATURES:
Loving, VERY Intelligent, Loyal, Playful, Good Looking. She gets great with all other friendly dogs but does not do well with cats, rabbits, etc. She gets along great with children, although we would not recommend her with toddlers.
CONCERNS:
Once Annie bonds with someone she feels it is her job to "guard" that person. This instinct is very stong in her, so for this reason she needs to be adopted by someone who is able to work with and handle her. Dog training classes would be a great idea for Annie and her new human so she can learn to follow instructions and would have a better idea what, exactly, is expected of her. SHE IS HIGHLY TRAINABLE BECAUSE SHE IS VERY INTELLIGENT and is eager to bond with a human.
Annie hunts down small animals that run from her so cats and other small pets would not work out with her.
Annie would do best if adopted by someone who is home during the day. SHE LOVES HUMAN COMPANY.
