Foster Pet of the Week! ADORABLE!!!

One was ten and was very aggressive, so the vet's office did euthanize that one.
The other one is five years old and has a slight cataract on one eye. She was, of course, not spayed, and spent most of her life in a cage.
The breeder said she had only had one litter, but who knows how many litters she actually had. She told Annie if she wanted to find her a home that was fine with her and left the office.
Annie, bless her heart, took this little girl home and gave her a much needed bath and grooming.

Look at this little sweet heart in her cute little jogging jacket! She had never been loved like this before.
I received the following email from Annie:

Barb,
This sweet little girl is an absolute doll. Never once did she give us a hard time with the bath or the grooming.
She just sat on the table and let us do what we needed to do.
Then she put her feet on us because she wanted to be held... she just loves attention! That ^%$@ puppy mill woman was going to have her euthanized because she is moving out of town and didn't want her. She told me Coconut is 5 years old and had one litter of pups. She wasn't very productive (so what good what she... oh brother).
Coconut does have some cloudiness in just one eye... not sure of the vision in that eye but other than that, she is just fine.
My husband just loves her but we can't keep her. I don't think she is housebroken but she is doing very well going potty on paperspapers I put down for her.
She loves her cage... poor thing was used to being in a tiny cage for 24 hours a day. The first night she barked (with her tiny bark) but last night we gave her a stuffed doggie to sleep with and she never made a sound all night. You have got to see her, Barb!

She was kept in a cage and was considered a "non-productive" breeder.
I'm not the greatest groomer in the world but she looks so much better than she did. She has bad breath so I used a dental rinse on her (I think she needs a dental) and she is not spayed. I can't afford to do that right now, can S.P.A. help?
She has had her distemper, rabies, bordetella, a capstar just in case she had fleas but I didn't find any or any flea dirt on her and I'll put advantage multi on her tomorrow.
She is definitely a purebred Bichon... her hair will have to grow back out but she would make an awesome pet for someone... hasn't tried to nip or anything... she's a little shy at first and then she just wants you to hold her. In one of the pictures I'm sending she's wearing the pink sweater I got her. I think it's really cute on her and it makes her feel snug.
Can S.P.A. help pay for her spay and dental, Barb? And, most importantly, will you please find her the perfect home?

Her hair will soon grown back and she will be her fluffy, mopsy self, again, only this time she won't become all matted. She will make someone a mighty special companion!
I'd rather you find a home for her than give her to another rescue. I'd like to know where she ends up and I know how selective you are. I feel responsible for her and want to know she will be loved the way she should be loved for the rest of her life.
Thanks Barb,
Annie

I told Annie that S.P.A. will do all we can to help this little sweet heart.
If anyone wishes to make a donation to help S.P.A. cover her dental, spaying and heartworm test that would be much appreciated. Online Donations can be made by clicking DONATE above. Please specify that you want your donation to go towards Coconut's care.
We'd like her to be able to have "the works" as far as vetting goes.
If anyone is interested in adopting this little girl, please fill out an online adoption application by Clicking ADOPT & FOSTER above.
Annie asked S.P.A. to try to find COCONUT the perfect home where she will be loved the way she deserves for the rest of her life.
