THEY'RE DOING GREAT!

Image - - Isn't Heidi stunning? To think she almost perished is difficult to understand, and what's more difficult to think about, is someone dumping these two.

Rainer and Heidi are the two little feral pups who were dumped in a field near Bowling Green. They are doing well and making steady improvement. THEY ARE BEAUTIFUL!

Their original story is on S.P.A.'s homepage at www.spaohio.org.

Thanks to Lysa & Mike, Deb & Gary, Lisa and Dan, Cathy and her husband, Steve, with White Paws Rescue, and yours truly (S.P.A.)... these two puppies are doing just fine!

Here you go sweetie. :) They are coming along great. We are working with them 3 times a day. Heidi is the sweetest of the 2 at this point but I have a feeling that Rainer will be the lover in the end. Heidi is very protective of her brother & lets us know that she is watching our every move. lol. Our older shepherd, Hope, has really helped & now they spend time with Romeo, an 11 1/2 month old male shepherd and Remington, a 9 month old. They all roughhouse & run & play all day. The 2 little ones watch how the two big ones play & totally mimic them. It is the cutest thing. All in all we feel that they have come a long way. They still have a ways to go, but now they are trusting more. Heidi is just about to where she should be as a normal puppy & Rainer is close behind. He is still a little scared but will come up to me now when I call him. They both do great with my husband Steve.

Thanks for this opportunity, S.P.A.,

Cathy Steve, Heidi & Rainer
